Joint EMBA programs are exceptionally global

In today’s increasingly globalized world, an EMBA that crosses borders provides exceptional value. It is rare for businesses to confine operations in just one nation, and EMBA programs give you an opportunity to learn in multiple countries. Often multiple continents. This global exposure is highly beneficial as it can open you up to different perspectives, a greater understanding of how regulations differ across the world, and even how cultural expectations can impact on business.

Our own research shows just how valuable an international focus is for graduate management education. For example, business school students who enrolled in a program with an international focus were more likely to strongly agree that they could not have obtained their current jobs without their education and that the skills they developed in business school helped further their careers. When a curriculum is 81-100% internationally focused, 39% of 2016/17 alumni went on to  be employed in senior, executive, or c-suite level positions—a far higher rate than that of alumni of programs which were less internationally focused. Figures like that strongly suggest that global programs, like joints EMBAs, offer a significant return on investment for students.
